Core Focus Areas.
Major issues facing Ghanaians and OGA's practical reform direction.
OGA will not copy angry rhetoric or personal attacks. Instead, OGA identifies the underlying national problems and presents disciplined, constructive, solution-oriented reforms.
Equal Citizenship & Diaspora Integration.
Problem: Dual citizens are treated as if their citizenship is diminished. OGA Solution: Born Ghanaian, equal forever. Implement ROPAA, protect voting rights, and integrate diaspora investment, skills, and leadership.
Constitutional Reform.
Problem: Outdated structures, PNDC-era laws, excessive privileges, and Article 71 concerns weaken trust. OGA Solution: Modernize the Constitution, abolish or restructure ex-gratia, limit waste, and strengthen democratic accountability.
Anti-Corruption.
Problem: Bribery, procurement abuse, favoritism, and stolen public funds damage national development. OGA Solution: Zero tolerance, asset disclosure, whistleblower protection, digital procurement, swift trials, and asset recovery.
Jobs, Training & Industrialization.
Problem: Youth unemployment and disguised unemployment weaken productivity. OGA Solution: Industrial parks, SME finance, vocational training, manufacturing, technology, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.
Fiscal Responsibility.
Problem: Waste, debt, and dependence on IMF and World Bank loans limit sovereignty. OGA Solution: Cut waste, track public assets, improve revenue systems, manage debt, and invest in productive sectors.
Education & Skills.
Problem: Education quality and job-market readiness require improvement. OGA Solution: Quality education, STEAM, vocational schools, digital literacy, teacher development, and innovation.
Healthcare, Housing & Social Protection.
Problem: Citizens need better healthcare, maternal care, senior care, housing, and social dignity. OGA Solution: Expand healthcare access, housing programs, elder care, and child/family support.
Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources.
Problem: Food insecurity, poor storage, land misuse, and resource mismanagement hurt citizens. OGA Solution: Modern farming, irrigation, agro-processing, responsible land use, and food security.
Environment & Anti-Galamsey.
Problem: Illegal mining destroys rivers, forests, farmlands, and health. OGA Solution: Treat galamsey as a national emergency with enforcement, monitoring, environmental courts, penalties, and restoration.
Infrastructure & Transportation.
Problem: Roads, drainage, rail, transportation, ports, and logistics are inadequate. OGA Solution: Build and maintain roads, mass transit, railways, ferries, ports, bridges, and efficient national logistics.
Water, Electricity & Internet.
Problem: Citizens need affordable clean water, reliable electricity, internet data, and phone access. OGA Solution: Universal access, renewable energy, broadband expansion, and lower service costs.
National Security, Law & Public Order.
Problem: Citizens need public safety, emergency response, law enforcement professionalism, and justice. OGA Solution: Modern policing, 911-style emergency systems, Amber Alert-style child safety alerts, courts modernization, and public order.
Local Government & Sanitation.
Problem: Flooding, waste, street lighting, poor drainage, and weak local authorities affect daily life. OGA Solution: Strong local accountability, sanitation reform, flood prevention, street lighting, and smart-city planning.
Trade, Technology & Global Competitiveness.
Problem: Ghana must compete globally and across Africa. OGA Solution: Technology adoption, AfCFTA trade, exports, innovation ecosystems, tourism, and strategic partnerships.
African-American & African Descendant Collaboration.
Problem: Ghana has not fully built structured bridges with African descendants abroad. OGA Solution: Heritage tourism, investment, education, cultural exchange, business partnerships, and development collaboration.
